When is Cedar Springs??

We do have a Tikka T3 club rifle in .223. Even if the bolt is on the wrong side for you, I am sure you could have made it work.:)
No one showed up with any of these out of the box, 1/4 MOA Savage rifle I keep hearing about. Even with the offer of free 7.62 ammo there were no takers. I guess no one wants to get any farther away from the target then 100 yards.

What are you talking about. Didnt you see my score in the "Free Ammo" match. Lot of Zero's in a row there.:runaway: :runaway: :runaway:

alright... how'd the shoot-fest go Maynard? An friendly side matches during the festivities? Any 1/4 MOA rifles show up? Be wanting to know about them! Weather must've been perfect... any stoppages for floating debris?

Rick, For skipping the shots onto the target you did OK. If you would have converted your 4 and 0 sighters, your score would have been 4 points higher.:p

John, We had a few drops of rain on Saturday, but only on my relays. Not enough to get wet but enough to just **ss you off. Sunday was cool with a fast changing fishtail from 5-7 o'clock. Enough to throw you into the 4 ring.
Monday was warm with a fishtail from 11-1 o'clock, again enough to throw you the odd 4 if you didn't pay attention. I fired 40 shots at 600 and only dropped 1 point (caught in the aim):bangHead:
The DA match on Saturday was fierce. Danny pulled out a win with a 47.4 followed by Andy with a 47.3 and me with a 47.2. Both Andy and I had magpies on score.
Only 4 stoppages all weekend for a few minutes while the Buoy markers were being put out. How was Ottawa, I can't find any results.

didn't go, don't know who actually did... all the locals I suppose can't see them missing it. Can't find the scores either... maybe Serge accidently burried them under all the sodding going on... we'll find them next spring once the groundhogs finish reading them.

so f-ers were a no show at Cedar Springs... wow... Gheeze you sound like Norm... rain only happens on his too! And Rick... thought he worked out the skips last year...

John, I think that was my 1st time at skipping them in. Thats what happens when an F classer gets sucked into shooting with those score plotters.
I bet Maynard new to crank on another 10 min of elevation with that army ammo. Just forgot to tell me??????????????
Good weekend overall. Lots of shooting, good turnout. Nice change from last year.

Rick, I used the same elevation for my first sighter that I use with my match ammo. Came up 2 minutes and converted my second sighter. I have no idea were the magpie came from for my second on score. I will bet it came directly from Dominion Arsenals:bangHead:
It just goes to show how spoiled we are shooting our own ammo, compared to the good old days of issued ammo. In the good old days we didn't even have a V Bull on the target, didn't need one. If you could shake in a 50 at any range a shoot-off usually straightened up any tie shoots. These days you can be in a shoot-off with a 50.8V's in target rifle. With the new F Class V bull, clean 60's will not be as common as they were in the past. With the way things are going, it will just be a matter of time before the F'er will want a 1/4 minute or smaller V:p
