I'd rather a company that actually cares about product versus spending all their time on CGN talking. If you can do both that's the best but if I had to pick one.

Lol. They supply every major leo agency in BC, rcmp, emt, fire, corrections, mil units all over canada as well as the general public. Maybe cgn dwellers should come to the realization that not all businesses are here to crawl up your a$$

I was in there a couple weeks ago. My impression is that they are "tactical" in that their customers tend to do tactical for a living and the gear they carry reflects that. Not a drop of mall-ninja feel at all - exactly the opposite. Great place. Great gear.

It was an honest question.
You just assumed that people on CGN only look for stuffs that make them feel better.
Many of CGN dwellers are also non civilians.

X 100,000,000,000,000,000, (I could go on...) As someone who has spent 2k+ in the last year, and up until the last few months as been very very impressed with the communication on this site and sale promotions done, I feel I have the right to ask! They did provide a level of service that was great, now less than that...the fact I want to spend money with them, or not, is no ones business but mine and while on a very public forum those of asking a question are looking to getting it answered... to spend money with them. They have chosen to be a part of this community, so monitor the site, as they have done so very well in the past or face customers questioning them...it really is quite simple...but ever-present feigned outrage of the fanboys...once again to the rescue!

I think the products they carry and their prices are great, if they are not responding to emails or pm's on this site give them a call, if still nothing than check out another vendor if ds tactical really is a poor retailer they will not survive long. most likely they will show up here at some point with a whole " we have been busy working on our new retail location and website to improve our customer experience" type story.

I see that my self or someone else needs to spend a little more time on here. But as some people may already know we are very busy. We are currently looking to hire another 2-3 people. A lot of the staff are working around the clock even after the store is closed just to catch up on daily work that we cannot get to during the day. This year has been our busiest year ever.All of you here have a huge hand in that, and we thank you.
As for our once a year 5.11 day sale. We are hoping to have it in 2016. We had a small setback for the start date on construction for the expansion of the new store. I will post a picture below of the new 8000 square feet store. It was a long road just get approval.
Now on to the new website. Its working! But now are working on trying transfer over 70.000 sku codes over. Once that is done we will need to do a full count for stock. All this is going on with us trying to do our daily tasks. I my self go home and start my new shift at home trying catch up one work.
I will list the store e mails here if anyone needs to contact us.

Thank you! We honestly do our best. But there is always room for improvement. Like I mentioned in our earlier post. Things are getting so insane that we are looking for 2-3 more people to hire. But finding people in our industry is a little harder.

Thank you for your honest opinion. But the success and failures in our service is and will always be a group effort, and has never been due to one person. I can honestly say that we do our best, especially with the insane year so far. I can't speak for everyone at DS . But I love it, keeps us going.
