When is the Elk rut in South Easter BC?

I appreciate it, but I just booked and put my deposit down today. I'm pumped for my first Elk hunt. Things are a bit messed up for the outfitters right now with the boarder closed. If it opens I might get bumped to 2023

I know good outfitters that can guarantee you a hunt this year. They are trying to feed family’s.

He was very upfront on what's going on this year. He has guys that have had deposits for last years hunt. Things are all messed up and most of the outfitters I talked to are in the same spot

good to hear you are booked in,
regardless of the period, the outfitter will be tryin his best to find you a elk, i guess if you were wanting to be in the peak of it, then public land is the go to atleast be out during the peak... doin this you often miss all the little ins and outs to the local woods etc, unless of course its yer own.
