Changes to the 1022........
Every year Ruger introduces some new variations of the 1022, this year's are
Receiver now has a hole covered with a plug to allow cleaning from the rear , Barreled Action must be removed from the stock. Bolt, Charging Handle , Magazine and Trigger removed from the receiver to do so.
No change to the v-block system regarding barrel attachment.
BX Trigger (this Trigger has been available on some other models and has been around for sometime as a factory add on) is now Standard equipment, not new or fancy, Trigger pull varies , though usually better then the standard.
Bolt release changed to match quick release available from after market.
Stock shape has changed slightly, to imitate Magpul, some stocks with barrel bands discontinued. TD Stock continue to have a barrel band.
More models with Threaded barrels and with 16.1" barrels.
Factory Short barrel models introduced, prohibited in Canada not because of barrel length, but because they don't make the 26" length with the factory folding stock.
