When is the M305/M14 Norinco Boat Docking at Marstar?

Just got mine.

Strips like my mini14.

Barrel seems indexed properly.

Sling, cleaning kit, 5 round mag, extra 5/20 round mag (added to order), gun case.

Rear sights are difficult to adjust, like it’s tightening something when it shouldn’t be.

Hungry here: Take a flat bladed screwdriver and back off the windage knob pinion (right side of sights) by about ONE klik, it's spring loaded, but that should release some tension on the elevation knob pinion.

Sights shouldn't be hard to figure out, unless someone wants to fill me on how these should be adjusted/ tightened.

Hungry here: Don't mess with the sights unless you # 1..Shoot with iron sights & #2 are willing to replace them with USGI sight parts. Chinese rear sight threads on Elevation pinion are SHZT

Also, looks to be tapped on left side of receiver for scope - is this correct?

Yes, it will take a Springfield 3rd Gen mount or ARMS # 18 mount. Save your sheckels and get either one of the 2 mentioned mounts. Anything cheaper will be made more expensive by increased expenditure of Advils. That's if you are gonna scope the rifle. Welcome to the addiction.

Oooo I'm happy to say I'm a member now too! :D When did you order? I ordered mine today (Wed Nov 22) So if you got a sling, cleaning Kit and Case with your gun I'm assuming I will too..... Hopefully...

Thank you Hungry.

Another question.

I have messed with my rear sights. When the elevation knob is dialled down what should the reading be? - I've got mine set to "2" - is this correct?

Still can believe this thing was 400 bucks. Crazy!

Thank you,

Jeff

Well I got mine today,
Came with a Combination tool, Bore brush, rods and oil. I got a sling, 5 round mag and a case all from Marstar... On top of that I got a 20/5 round mag, recoil buffer and guide rod. The stock is beautiful, a dark almost burgandy color. But that is to be replaced by a synthetic being made for me. Most of the cosmoline had already been wiped off, which was nice. Everything seems to be in tip top shape and I hope to fire this weekend.

Just a heads-up for those still waiting for an M305/M14S. Epps has several in stock as of yesterday (Sat.20 Jan.). I just picked up my second one! This one isn't even as greasy and smelly as the first one.:dancingbanana:

Hurry up, it sounds like they're going fast.

John

Sorry, I should have mentioned that. They come with only one 5-round mag and a sling. No manual.

And lots of cosmoline.:runaway:

I also just saw one on Williams' website for $495 with two mags.

Dark service is outstanding, package arrived safe and in good order with 2 * 5 round mags, 1 20/5 mag, a sling and clenaing kit, shipped to my door, and pre-registered without hassle for $500.00

From this point on Dark will be getting all my business. When you factor in the cost of the items they include, they are substantially lower priced than Marstar and the service is excellent, and without a hitch.

Norinco will sell to anyone with cash. My understanding is that Rodger deals with Norinco through another associate closer to China. I believe this was discussed in regards to the Dark .40S&W 1911's.
