When ordering Ammo

Was that the WWB .223 by any chance? I am placing an order this Monday for some of that stuff and when I called (and they picked up on the 3rd ring and transfered my right over) he said he had lots. I want to order 2,400 rounds of it, and I was quoted 25 bucks per crate to ship to me in Ontario, about 10 hours down the road. Not bad.

I wll try to explain once more, at Marstar we use Canpar, the only company who will deliver ammo almost any place in Canada without "hand-offs".
Delivery time can and will vary a great deal, we have NO control aver the rate at which they travel....
If we are missing something, PLEASE let us know we would be pleased to find a faster (cheaper if possible) way to ship ammo.
Regards
John

John,
I've used UPS and CanPar.

I find UPS better and cheaper.

Well I faxed in my order to Marstar for a crate of ammo recently, and they sent it a couple days later. I received it exactly a week after they sent it. The long weekend was even that week. It is not like I am close to them either because I live in Alberta, so I thought it was pretty fast. Canpar is not very cheap though (60 bucks for a crate of 7.62x54r.)

so ,hear we go the order was orded may 3rd and the money came off the credit card on May 23rd.It was finally shipped May 25th. So we are looking at 10 -14 days for shipping. And we have paid for shipping,we could drive to Kamloops to Wholesale sports.

Sure. $200 in gas and $100 in ferry tickets. Sure, you're almost better off driving to Kamloops to Wholesale where they don't have surplus ammo than ordering it and waiting for it to arrive.

Should have re-ordered before you ran out!

could try gone finishin' in nanaimo or port, but they most likly wont.
thats what sucks about the island, no cheap ammo, and non in big quantities.
i think i should open "Joe's ATF" on the island. hehe, and then id get whole sale price to.

Maybe I'll try to buy my ammo locally first ,so is there anybody that sells 7.62x25 on Vancouver Island????thanks for all the input guys.
Pullen's has some (outskirts of Victoria) but I don't believe in large economy quantities. I sold half my Marstar shipment last year.

now its June 1 st and 1 of 3 parcels have been delivered today . So maybe Monday we might get the other 2 parcels .A month is not bad HEY .I guess next time I'll order 2 months ahead .So in 7 days from Marstar we got 1 out of 3 thats good servive CanPar so its not the slow delivery .Normally when your getting SCR***D you should get some huggin' HEY.I don't there will be a next timeMARSTAR.I'll sell my guns off or move to another country.

So much hate

I haven't bought anything from Marstar yet, but I've heard that they can be a hit and a miss sometimes. But I think a simple, they don't get my business anymore after this, would be sufficient. Saying you're going to move out of the country and sell your guns because the ammo didn't come in, in a timely fashion is just silly.
