when searching for 3 gun matches in bc. websites?

Just shot my first ipsc match and had a blast. I really like the look of the 3 gun matches, but noticed when I went to the ipsc bc page they only had 1- 3 gun match listed on the upcoming matches page (kelowna) Are there other places in bc that put up 3 gun matches that might not be assosiated with ipsc?

Is it not as popular yet up north so its harder to have people interested, or is it still in the informal stage meaning I'll have to hunt around more to find them? there seem to be 3-5 per month for regular ipsc matches. Think it would be fun use my ar that I built up in a similar way after that first ipsc pistol match.
 
Kamloops puts on at least two per year and there is one coming up in a couple of weeks (16-17 April) (two days). go to www. ktsa.ca for details. It is a fun match, so any Black Badge qualified shooter can participate. There is another thread refering to this match on this page also.

Yesterday's fun match here in Kelowna was great fun, and we are planning to do more 3 gun in the future.
 
yeah I think thats the one listed on the ipsc webpage. I'd like to make it, been waiting for wanstalls to get my shotgun in that I ordered a few months ago, not sure if it'll make it in time.

I've currently got a vacation planned that spans april 12-18th, but my work may cancel my vacation, and if that happens might be able to head up for the weekend match.
 
If you are short of a gun, just buy ammo and go anyway. There were several people at all of the 3 gun matches I have attended sharing guns. We are trying to grow the sport here in the Okanagan, and I am sure you would find someone willing to lend you their gun for your run.

thanks for the info. I called wanstalls to see if they had heard anything and go figure, it just cleared customs. Should mean I'll even get it in time to put a few rounds through it before kelowna. Now just need to convince my work that I can get away that weekend.
