Can anyone tell me if the internal parts of the 439 & 39-2 are interchangable.
Namely the sear & related parts. Long story...........
Bought a 39-2 off a nutter, after firing 50+ rounds she would occasionally runaway (2-3 shots per pull). I took it apart, cleaned the crap out of it, inspected the parts (they look OK) put it back together and it still does the same thing.
So, its clean and does'nt appear too worn, anything else I can try?

I may swap some 439 parts into the 39-2 if they are intechangable.

Comments welcome
Tks in adv.

I'm also curious about this. And what about the similar guns like the 59 or 659? Aren't they similar. Would the barrels be interchangeable. Sorry for semi-hijacking.

I looked on Numrich Gun Parts web site and the "sear, standard, #4" is the same part number for the 39-2 and 439 there so I wouldn't be surprised if it fits. If you are worried about a possible full auto burst with the new parts just put 2 or 3 rounds in the magazine at first, then if it goes wild it won't be as bad.
