It usually takes a year to get a new rifle up here - at least if the shop sources from a national wholesaler instead of dealing direct/importing themselves. And then, it only comes up if it survives the first year on the American market (there was a few offerings from Browning at the 2015 Shot Show that "wouldn't be available in Canada until 2016" and now they are absent from the entire line - along with most models of the 70 Winchester - oh well).
But on a positive note, maybe our buck will be worth more than 76 cents by the time they get here because if we "could source one today" it would have a shelf price of (near) $1300, which price it comparably with a Stainless BLR but 100-200 bucks more than either the straight grip or pistol grip blued BLR's.
