When you close the BCG on upper only is there some wobble space at the end?

I notice that both my NEA uppers (remove from lower) , with the same bolt closed, there is less wobble space compare a different upper I just got. I assume the less wobble the better but is there a way to tell is the gap is too big?

<-- just a ref picture.. not mine.

So if the NEA has less gap then it means the NEA is better in this particular part?

Basically I close the BCG then put a finger in the hole and see how much I can move around the BCG while it is inside the upper.

There is a bit of play at the end of the BC and upper receiver on my ARs. Haven't compared them to see how much play there is but could check...
