Whens the ammo drought going to end

When people stop walking into the stores and buy entire stocks or when employees like those at my local cabales stop hoarding it for themselves or hiding it for their buddies.
 
No drought online either, bought 5K of ammo ( low prices) tru the sales online this weekend... JP.

In conversation with a local dealer, CCI is producing 5,000,000 rounds per day and anticipate 18 months before all orders are filled and a surplus exists again.

I am only repeating what he told me so please don't shoot this messenger . . .

When a dealer has product today it is because his order rose to the top.

Yeah, I was assuming the same thing. But with this question being in the Rimfire Forum, I was hoping he may have found a nice stash of .22LR. ;) but it is more likely that he just didn't realize which sub-forum the question was in.

Thanks for that valuable info, although it's not what I wanted to hear. I live in a city of about 725,000 and there is only 1 store selling CCI rimfire and it just Subsonic. After my scope is sighted in I won't be going to the range till i can easily get any CCI again.
 
The only thing I have problems finding is decent priced .22 as for everything else, lots of stock..... around these parts anyway. Just bought 1000 rounds of 9mm for $260 and 1200 rounds of 7.62 x 39 for $225

Cannot find ANY 308 ammo here in Montreal. Went cross border just to look, none there either. Luckily I have enough for my hunting season as I had purchased several boxes years ago. Still, would like to get more.

I wish, I just bought 500 rds of Winchester white box for $220ish unfortunately its 124 grain im a 147 kinda guy.
 
the drought will last as long as the Americans keep hoarding Ammo . forget getting any in NY state there worse off than we are .
