Where are all the AR Mags?

Anyone else out there having a hard time finding AR mags for sale (new ones)? There was a CGN'er that had some nice new AR mags 30/5's, but lost the contact name... otherwise, any ideas?

Americans are buying them up. There was a guy recently on AR15.com who showed pictures of over 800 PMAGS he had purchased.....

Watch the EE and jump on them sh*ts as soon as you see them. I picked up the bushmaster 20/5 and sabre defense 30/5 from Target Sports but it was the last ones(they had one of each) and they haven't stocked any since and that was back in December. I have had all my luck through EE, i've found two windowed pmags(could have been 5 if I had the cash) and five LAR15 mags for really good deals.

Every US Distributor has been sold out of most Magazines (especially AR magazines) since the November election. Most people in the US are betting that Obama will pass legislation that will stop new high capacity magazines from being made for the public... as a result (like the last time the US passed such legislation) they are betting that the price on existing high capacity magazines will go sky-high and so they are buying everything in sight.

This goes for ammunition as well.

Getting supply of anything right now is a joke... every manufacturer is so badly backordered they just can't cope anymore.

We have run out of most of our magazines (not everything yet but getting there) and getting replacments is a very slow process.

I was amazed to see C-Products mags for sale at the Marine Corps exchange for $9.99 ea last summer while I was in Hawaii on an ex. I cleaned em out. And bought a couple dozen magpul followers and ranger plates at the same time. Then I saw the GG&G stuff and blew a months pay. These mags will probably last the rest of my career.

I am sure he is working on getting a few 1000 more.

I think dealers should limit orders on certain items. If someone is calling for 100 mags?? it is obvious they want to 'profit' off others. Put a 20 mag limit up. You would be on file as a LEO or Mil anyway, they could adjust the quantities....just a thought....

The retailers now are limiting purchases to 100 max, no exceptions according to some guys on THR.

I still have 6 of the nice DSGI magazines from a member on these boards, and 4 LAR 10 rounders. I'm counting my lucky stars that I bought them when I did. Looks like it will be a while until decent stock shows up.
