Where are all the deer?

I sat at the end of my folks driveway after giving my bike a tune up and giving it a little run, and watched 5 deer (that I could see) off in the neighbors field just playing chill. Can't wait to get out for all of next week.
 
Around here you can't drive a mile without seeing a deer. I was hunting yesterday and today and passed up a 5 point opening morning at light, and a spike horn this morning, plus a half dozen or so does. To bad I have to wait till the weekend to get out again
