I’ve heard they can’t keep up with the salesRumour has it the 870 might be out of production soon too. Maybe a Chinese factory will clone the 1100 one day.

Leo Harrison III shot an 1100 for years. I saw him at the Grand American in those days and he carried a tackle box stuffed full of new parts in packages with him from post to post. You'd see him sitting at a table swapping parts when needed or doing repairs. Nice thing back then was you could drop your gun off at the Remington factory booth and the gunsmiths would do a complete service on your gun for free. All you paid for was any parts. I had an 1100T Grade Trap that kept snapping bolt forks every 2500 rounds. Cost me $29 to have the gun completely gone through. It didn't snap another fork after that. Turned out the rebound spring was shot.Great gun for the average shooter not so much for a high round count competition shooter they needed dozens of parts to keep operating. But most shoot them well and at the price point were a bargan. I have more than a few and still use them on a regular basis.
That would be hard as they have, not made a,new gun in 2 yearsI’ve heard they can’t keep up with the sales
What is the downside here Trap Gun Full Choke ?. $300 that is the beauty of these guns always have been affordabe and for the most part most shoot them well. Todays $3000 plus autooader prices are just stupid .my 1980s 1100 is still going strong. it's my trap gun. only downside is fixed choke. Think I paid $300 20 years ago
For 16yd singles a more open choke is good and for doubles you want a more open choke for the first shot. Scott may also be talking about not having the flexibility of screw in chokes. What is the downside here Trap Gun Full Choke ?
