???? Where are all the sks-d's ???

Good deal, the kd seems more common , I almost bought one for a similar price on here not long ago, but decided to wait for a D

wise move bcos you cant beat the original, besides they can always make more KD but not the D bcos it requires min order that most importers are not willing to place.

From what I can gather, the KD's were hit and miss.
Some work great, some not so much....either way a cool rifle to have as a back-up to the real deal.

What a back up good deal? Instead of carrying FOUR mags for SKS-D, I can carry TWO clips with the same amount of bullets for my SKS with fixed mag.
And I can carry them in my pocket.

both of mine worked very well with all sort of mags but t81 mag was the best in terms of snug fit

Yes but if were talking in the context of the SHTF scenario, the math could change quickly in favour of the D.

Just call Leverarms. That's where it is for sale. I think I am gone pass.

Also, look at the mag release. I don't like the look of it upon closer examination.

Too bad the one for $1500 does not have pics, I am curious to see what he has, the earlier imports that have the bayonet and lugs intact are getting harder to find.

There is another one for $1,200. I saw the pics, I would rate it as "good minus" condition (would be good with bayo and hardware which is not exactly cheap). Seller is nice but states "VG" condition. Bayo lug intact but no bayonet. Everything looks original.

VERY GOOD: In perfect working condition, no appreciable wear on working surfaces, no corrosion or pitting, only minor surface dents or scratches.

GOOD: In safe working condition, minor wear on working surfaces, no broken parts, no corrosion or pitting that will interfere with proper functioning.

But I am used to that from buying and selling coins, lol.

top pic... i bought and sold enuff of these to know if you want a "D", this aint it cos its a "M", i can tell from the stock its original cos it has no cut for the duck bill.
i have not seen a mount like that, it might be worth $100 so you are really paying $700 for the rifle. thats the going rate.

bottom pic... if it was a "D" then its been modded to a point that i cant tell if it was home made. the bayo lug is gone and the stock is gone.

He sent me pics.
It looks really nice and how it should,
Definitely a legit D
Go figure, nothing for ages, and as soon I as I buy a type 81 and an m10x 2 show up.
On a positive note I get to put the type 81 and m10x head to head and Il post a review.

ah ah what a tease ... how many you have of them to entertain us? and make us very angry on not having them lol ...

The guy on ####### is asking $650 with the bayo lug cut off. How much does a cut off bayo lug reduce the value? - asking for a friend. Let's see. cut off one of my Chinese SKS, have somebody weld it on for maybe $50, add a little for being generous and some AK mags, so $800? Meh, I would probably not even pay that.
