Where are people being powder!?!?!????

And he price list is unfortunately out of date.
8lbs of BL C2 is not $230 its $275 which is still a good deal (and it's better than Varget anyway)

Search around - Bizzarely enough, I have been able to find powders that have been like unicorn dust over the past two years.
Since Dec 15, I have bought 4-6 lbs each of R26, Varget, R16, 1 kilo each of VV 140, n550/565, and 2 lbs H1000. Its out there, just have put in the elbow grease and search!

I'm lucky for powder, primers etc. I have a dealer that carries big amounts and he is not very far away from me, so I don't have to ship. He is limiting primers to 500/person and powder to 2lbs/each kind/person.

Hey BERT !!! I can play...

My regular price is lower than yours, but your sale price is lowest of all....so far anyway.

the powder in those old cans is breaking down due to the reaction of the coatings on the powder with the medal inside the can. I am not saying the powder is no good but its burn properties could be altered. You might notice a brown dust when pouring the powder, and that is the chemical change that has taken place. I have some old cans of IMR powder from the late 80's and I started backing off on the loads I used back then when using up the powder today.

I had one of those cans (not the type in the picture) that had light brown powder but still smelled good so I cut the can open to see the inside and it was rust dust from the inside of the can, anyway I tossed that.

Does anyone know if regulations require original packaging? If not I might combine my 4 cans into one plastic can to prevent the rust. I have it stored pretty temperature stabile now so i'm not very worried, it smells good and looks good.

My noble powder had no rust worked excellent, storage procedure is the key,
I also have 5 lbs of the same powder Nobel 45 from same time frame , inside plastic bag in card board box , came this way when I bought it , no rust looks as good as new , use 4895 Data for loading
Currently working on a load for my 33 Winchester with this powder.

Still smells ok. Probably ok to use - like you say, maybe start at the low end and work up

Like the title asks: where are people buying rifle powder???

Are people just not shooting , is there a secret line on powder???? Do people really have stocks this deep???

Where is the rifle powder in Canada????

You're the guy who was buying up all the toilet paper in March, when all the smart people already had a stash....

What powder do you need, $100 a pound! Haha.

Yes exactly like that. I know it smells ok, but back off on the charge. I loaded some 22-250 load last year (IMR 4895) from my old data and I found they were on the "HOT" side.
