The Krieger barrels have an excellent reputation for accuracy. They and other commercial Garand barrels will normally require the barrel shoulder to be turned down a tad on a lathe in order to allow them to index properly. After indexing the chamber must be cut with a finishing reamer in order to set up the headspace with a bolt of your choice.
