Where are some good crown-land locations for recreational shooting preferably as close as possible to Toronto?

Just got my first fire run and was hoping to find some spots to go shooting if you have any suggestions, let me know.
 
Folks who have favourite crown-land spots usually don't share those locations so they don't get over-used and regulated. Theoretically I suppose that if everyone does their own study of the maps the spots used will be spread out more.

Preferably something with a "backstop" there is also multi use crown land so it's up to you to think safe & be safe. You don't want to end up shooting someone by mistake.

Yes, of course. I figured that part about shooting Someone is probably best. But I didn’t realize that the entire blue space is allowed for shooting if you can find a suitable spot.
 
Best of luck but but anyone who has a good spot isn't likely going to share it here. I recall a few years back that shooting was banned on some public land near Port Perry when it was overrun with shooters after being mentioned on internet websites.
