It has been a very slow last few months in the EE. There's a lot of new product listed each day, far more than what is selling. What's the reason? Poor economy? Recession? Pre election fears? Maybe all of the above. The lowballers are having a hay day.

Probably a combination of the low oil prices and associated layoffs, and it being the end summer vacation people were out doing/thinking about other things.

I have been window shopping, but until I stop having negative money I can't buy any shiny new toys. :( I have come close a few times when I got staring at the pretty pictures for too long, but It really wouldn't be very responsible. I think I should be back in the black by springtime, then I can start browsing the EE with intent again.

I suppose it depends on how you define "slow"...... noting in the past 2 1/2 months you've received 36 new feedbacks on your trader rating. ;) :p

I don't have enough money to spend. Got to start thinking about my club renewal fee, and ammo for 2016. Plus my next firearm purchase involves importing from the states. So that will be expensive - not to mention parts and accessories that i have to buy beforehand such as the mgw sight pro.

Sometimes a sellers market, sometimes a buyers market. Your currently in a buyers market. Last April handguns seemed to be priced 150 under retail on the ee. And it was still slow. Money is moving like mud.

Your stuff is usually pretty upmarket too, OP. What I've seen of it anyway.

Love the 1897 shotgun you've got, but it's beyond my budget for such a piece, so I've not even taken a kick at it.

You can often tell the market with a bread and butter gun like a glock. If they are near mint and 550-600 $ and not selling the market is slow and dry. If they sell quickly for 7 $ there's money out there... Jmo

Everything has an inherent value. If you are not getting bites, then your price is too high. Just bought a Kimber grand raptor for 1500. Sold my custom 2 for 700
