Hello friends.

I've got a bug for a new production Colt Series 70 Government, blued.

Can't seem to find one anywhere. I had requested one from Arms East months ago, but it went from "its arrived" to "Colt isn't making that model" (???) in the few weeks that it took to get a reply from them recently.


So, outside of a grey market import has anyone seen any of these anywhere?

I'm ONLY interested in model # O1970A1CS, and only in a NIB one.

Nothing else will do.

Best of luck. Colt can barely stay in business; their supply of 1911s varies wildly and models randomly start up and shut down. I hope you find the one you're looking for somewhere in a store here but if it's not on a shelf somewhere, it could be any number of months before another one gets into the country.

It's their current situation that made me serious about finally getting one. Now or never, possibly..
