Where best price on 17hmr?

I noticed 17 gr Winchester in Prince Albert WobbleMart for $14 and some cents. Not a bad price, for sure.

Cabelas just had a sale of A17 ammunition, $69 for 200 rounds. I wish they sold it in 50 packs so I could at least try it with minimal investment into the product, but I bought some as it has a good reputation.

I find it just as good as anything else, buy 200 with confidence, you likely will buy more!

A guy on the YouTubes was using it in an A17 and kept having misfires. Hornadys worked fine. Crono'd it was all over the place too.

Yikes, if the A17 ammo doesn't work in my A17, I'll shoot it in my CZ453 Varmint. I've had pretty good success with my A17, but it isn't perfect. It's reasonably accurate, 1 1/4" 5 shot groups at 100 yards, but the trigger is heavy, and some times it doesn't feed a new round. The aftermarket high capacity 25 round mags are great though. Feeds better than the factory mag, and are much easier to load as they have a thumb lever for the mag follower to allow you to just drop the round in. It's got a design that Ruger should have used for their 10/22's in that you remove a rear cover just by pressing in a round button, and the bolt comes out the rear, making cleaning very easy.

Just got back from the range shooting A17 ammo out of my A17. As accurate as any, and definitely higher velocity. I am not experiencing any of the problems that guy did in the video. It functions flawlessly in my A17. I was however using a Butler Creek 25 round mag. Not sure if that made the difference.
