where can i buy 50 round drum mags for my M&P 15-22

The M&P 15-22 is restricted and because of the pistol model taking the same mags as the rifle version, they are now restricted to 10 shot mag limits... Why would you want a 50-round drum mag to pin to 10?? Does the drum mag only work in the rifle model and therefore not subject to the 10-shot limit??

Your are right, 50 drum mags are perfectly legal for it only works on the rifle model..

thanks bro, but the one on questar does not work on 15-22, I guess no one have it that works on 15-22..

I asked the Questar guys and they are hoping to have the Black Dog drum for the M&P15-22 this spring.

Also North Sylva has told me that they are trying to get the stick mag limitation reversed since the M&P15-22 Pistol is no longer available from S&W and were never brought into Canada anyway.

Also Plinker Tactical in the US is starting production on a 35 round stick mag. They say it will be available from the big vendors such as Cabela's this spring. Not sure when it will make it into Canada though.

thank you saskplcguy for the info..at least there is still hope, i have been looking for this for months now..

No, this is only true for the S&W mags that were advertised as being for the M&P15-22P pistol as well as the rifle. Black Dog doesn't advertise the pistol, neither does Promag with their 32 round stick mags so both of those are good to go in Canada.

It's the same with the Ruger 10/22's, the factory Ruger 25 round mags are prohib because they are advertised as fitting the Charger pistol. That's why you need to buy the Butler Creek/Promag etc. mags instead of the factory ones.
