Where can I find out about my Garand? *pics added*

A fool and his money are soon separated. Generally it's not cost effective. I basically assure you the builder had more than $1000 into it ;)

I suspect you are right. ALOT of people would be interesed in one or more of your parts, but you're better off keeping it whole IMHO.

You have alot of SA parts, most likely because SA made by far the most garands and therefore the most parts. It's a percentages thing, nothing more. :)

FWIW the only non-rebuilt all correct al matching original M1's I see around are the odd Italian made M1. and even most of those are mismatched rebuilds.

Hee hee.... all matching and correct ones are out there. Out of my 10 or so Garands I own, 2 are all original and in very good condition. One's a WWII Winchester and the other is an IHC. I also have a very nice PB Garand, and the only part that's mis-matched is the bolt.... drat!!

Yes, but those are the exception - not the rule - and you likely looked hard to find them ;)
 
Well in the end its worth whatever someones willing to pay for it. Call it a fools bargain, inflation, market demand or whatever. Oh yeah, Dont part it out. I have a nice home for it with my other 3 :)
