I need one for adjusting the stock screws of my anschuz. I checked canadian tire, rona, home depot. they have thoes huge ones for plumbing or cars. where can I get a small one?

What is the torque spec of the screws? Chances are you are going to need a torque wrench in " inch pounds" in/lbs. If you dont have any luck with princess auto, and are not willing to pay Snap-on/ MAC prices, check out your local automotive parts store. They usually carry more wallet friendly tools. If you get stuck, PM me and I might be able to help.

The princess auto one is 2-36 inch lbs and cost $79.99. Takes 1/4" bits and looks like a screwdriver. I suspect it will be on sale soon, as they usually have a promotional price when they bring in something new.

I bought a Gehmann torque wrench for $75.00. It is 4-12MN (probably about 36-110inch lbs) . Overall it is very nice but it only comes with allen key bits, not screwdriver. It is 3/8" so normal 1/4" screwdriver bits don't fit it. Other than that it is nice (and made speciffically for shooting). It can be found at cibles canada targets.

I need one that can go from 25 in.lbs to 50. so far FAT one fits the best. I will go for it. thanks for all the input.

dont touch those princess auto torque wrenches. Once i bought one of the ft-lb ones and the first time i used it i snapped off two bolts into my block doing a water pump. then we compared it to a mastercraft one, and the settings were way higher than what it said on the handle.

There are also torque screwdrivers, though they may need to be calibrated each time.....don't know if snap-off sells them.

PROTO makes a full line of torque wrenches.should be able to order one from any auto parts store or tool supplier.they are quality items but (i'm sure) come with a high price.i use them at work all the time...
