Have a parker hale in .308 and I want to get a muzzle brake for it and possibly my Savage 7rem mag. I have a shoulder injury so recoil is now a big issue. Where can I get it done in the edmonton area? What cost am I likely looking at?

I imagine several places/people can do that...however it is best done with the brake in hand so it can be accurately fitted and the brake bored true to the bore. Just threading the barrel and then screwing any 'finished' brake on is not the best way.

Hendrickson is about the only I can think of in Edmonton. Pretty good, but bring cash only, and his rate is high.
You can go by and show him what you want and he will tell you the price.

Someone who doesn't know the difference between 'break' and 'brake'.

If your shoulder is damaged a brake isn't going to help much. A lot depends on what is damaged and how badly. A torn tendon, for example, take roughly a year to go away, mostly. Mine still hurts a bit, but I have the use of my arm back.
Anyway, Epp's charges $100 plus the cost of the brake. Locally it should be around there.
Like guntech says, decide what brake you want first.
