Where can I get a Ruger AR-556

I've checked just about every dealer on here and my local ones. If anyone knows where I can buy a Ruger AR-556 pls let me know. I'm assuming no one received them yet and if they did the small amounts sold out quickly. Christmas money ready and waiting

Piston driven is nice as well. Buddy of mine has the one WCH linked to and it's ###y, soft shooting and can take a #### kicking

Saw the DI Rugers on sale on several US sites for under $600 for Boxing Week. Even with the exchange and paying IRUNGUNS to handle the import you'd be money in. Something to consider.

The SR is pretty nose heavy. Overall, the gun is heavy. They should have fluted it like on the carbine model.

Agreed, it's weighted like a DMR - which is great for a DMR, but it's a 16 inch piston carbine, the hand guards are light but when you get a look at the thickness of the barrel, it's out of wack with the gun's role. I've thought about having mine fluted but folks seem leary of fluting it, and replacing the barrel is a custom job because the gas system length is non-standard. You also have to allow for the weight of the gas block, which for some strange reason is quite considerable. I should get working on that - and having the hand guards cut for M Lock - they're just crying out for it.

After some helpful input from fellow gunnutz, and some research. There's no AR-556 left in Canada right now.
I've decided to preorder one for when they arrive hopefully in February.
Thanks for all your input everyone.
The SR is definitely a great option but it's just that much more money (even on sale).
