Where/Can I get a Ruger SR22 Pistol in Canada?

Hey Guys,

Just did the Rpal test and passed it, and I am on the hunt for a handgun that I can save for now, to get as soon as the paperwork is done. I am really interested in getting a SR22 pistol, as I also plan on getting it's rifle big brother.

Does anyone know who sells it, and more importantly, can we even have it in Canada.

As it is, the SR22 pistol is prohib. It is a pretty small pistol so not a lot that is similar without a longer barrel sticking out the end. Kind of takes away from the look of the pistol with that. The S&W M&P 22 looks like its big brothers, but good luck finding one of those right now. I have a GSG 1911 and it is pretty fun. If your looking for reliability look at a Ruger MKIII or Browning Buckmark.
 
The only caveat with the M&P22 is that you will be stuck with only the 1 mag that comes with it for awhile unless you can magically procure some from somewhere. I've been looking and pestering people but I can't find any. Much to my chagrin...
