Where can I get Loctite?

UAP-NAPA has it too. Make sure you use the BLUE loctite (moderate strength). Red will give you a lot of greif when it comes to removing the small bolts / screws found on most mounts / basesetc.

Hey guys, I figure someone on this forum must know the answer for this. I've been looking around Home Depot, Rona, BMR, Canadian Tire, and I can't seem to locate it anywhere.

With all the builds found here, some one MUST have used some Loctite for their rail mounts or something.

Thanks

Did you just get an XCR recently?:D

you guys.... lol

ok yea I was definitely in the wrong section, i didn't think about the automotive sections, i was looking in the adhesive sections...

and no, i didn't get an xcr, just for a light mount for my ar-15 and it was recommended when installing a side saddle on an 870 shotty

anywho, thanks for the responses!

If your looking for the exact brand of 'Loctite' or whatever that used to come in plastic cylinders (with the rotating base) I have not seen it in ages. Permatex threadlock is available everywhere and works just as good.

No, it does not. See my earlier post. Locktite brand is superior in my opinion. You get what you pay for. Permatex is the budget brand so to speak. I have had the same bottle for many many years and its still half full so, why not get the better one.

IIRC< locktite at CDN Tire is in the painting section, not the automative/adhesive section.

Kinda annoying since Permatex thread sealant and thread locker is in the automative section, but locktite is not.

I guess you need loctite to seal paint cans???:p

You can find it next to the Robarm XCR display at your local sport-shooting store... :nest:
