"...sent an email to Brownells to see if..." M-14 part. No exporting 'em without the permit. Even aftermarket stuff. Ask about a target holder(that's what a light on a rifle is) for an M1A.

now it is out of stock and gone from the website! it said in stock when I ordered it? I hope they have at least one kicking around to send me or the flashlight i ordered will be useless!

If you ordered the last one it will disappear from the website. Wolverine Supplies runs a live inventory on the website so if it says in stock, then it is.

Yea that's what I was hoping. Hopefully it is accurate! I've been lied to by inventory systems before, and my dreams were smashed!

I got one from Brownells a few years ago, but it was out of spec and wouldn't fit properly. I sent it back and the new one sucked as well. Tired of paying for return shipping, I decided to fit it. Now it sits in my useless parts box. Good luck, hopefully they have improved their QC.

Eek! I hope it works, rail options are pretty limited for a regular stock m-14.
