Roofing companies come across it all the time. If your in a rush and don't mind paying a premium, you can head over to any dive shop and grab some lead ballast. They will probably charge you $4-5/lb for it.

Careful, a lot of dive weights the last number of years have zinc in them or have as they are made from recycled mixed lead including wheels weights and some have been made from recycle range lead which is harder. If you know what older weights look like they are generally pure Pb, the same goes for fish weights and rigger balls.
Industrial radiography firms (X-ray inspection). The films they use often have a soft lead foil on them that is disposed of after the shot. Dentists have this too, unless they have switched to the newer digital methods.
If you have a source for wheel weights, aren't you finding some stick on weights in the mix? If they are soft, they are probably pure lead.
yes did find a few soft lead weights ..they were long ...like a ribbon ..used them all up making loads for my 2 flintlocks , and a snider that get thirsty fast ..lol thanks for all the great ideas..do have a couple of dentist here in town may try that ...if they are not made to dispose of the lead by gov regs ...
Where are you located ?
I do have at least 150 pounds of pure lead in sheets and pipe form that I have no real use for. I usually cast my bullets with good "OLD" wheel weights.
Free except you pay for the shipping and packing.

If you live in an older town, ask the town municipal workers in public works. Sometimes they come across old lead water lines that have to be replaced. They pipe is like 1" diameter almost 1/4" Wall
