where can I get pure lead for casting bullets for black powder rounds?

I have way to much soft lead.....guess I'll find a use for it one day. Right now I use it to make sinkers to give to the people I get my lead from.

A little tip.....

If you know a power lineman (the guys who climb power poles) they use pure lead "straps" to secure wire down wooden poles. The straps are approx 2lbs each. They usually have extras laying about.

I have 200 lbs or so, all it cost was a couple of timmys!

One way to tell if ya got pure lead but not entirely accurate is to throw it down on a concrete deck. If it goes ting instead of a soft klunk it ante pure lead. Then there is the old thumb nail test.
