Where can I get recoil springs for an XD-40?

I am trying to source recoil springs for an XD-40 but can't seem to find any, does anyone know where I can get them? Wolff springs only seems to have the ones for the 4" guns.

I head that a 1911 spring will fit in the tactical model (I have one, but have note compared the two side by side)..

check out the XD forums (w_w_w.tdtalk.com) they would know if there is an alternative.

Yep, use regular sized 1911 recoil springs.

XD-40 5" Tactical Spring

Yes the XD-40 5" Tactical uses the same spring as the 1911. I am running a wolff spring rated at 20.0 lbs (part number 42420) and like it. I believe the stock spring is 18 lbs, but am not sure. I bought my spring at the Shooting Edge in Calgary.
