Hi, about 2 years ago some people had access to the Rock River 9mm 10/32 AR mags that look like the Bushmaster Carbon-15 mags. I'd like to know if there are any out there that anyone would be interested in parting with or a place that i can purchase them from. Thanks in advance!

I know, this is getting insane. For the love of God, someone bring in some 9mm AR magazines that work! :bangHead:

If we could even get some decent 5/32 (or 5/whatever) magazines that actually worked, that would at least be a start. 10/32 mags would be fantastic, but it is starting to feel like a fantasy right about now. No more of them have come into the country for some time now, and anybody that has them is not selling them. The half dozen "WTB" adds in the EE will attest to that.

Questar is having a big problem with the C-Products 10 round mags right now. The problem being.... the current batch of them will cause the firearm to not cycle... at all. I know because I bought a 9mm AR and two of those mags (one with the gun, one from a local shop) and the gun wouldn't cycle at all. I sent the whole works back to Questar and Mark and Co. have been working hard to find the problem and resolve it. Apparantly some other guys sent their 9mm ARs back as well, same problem all around. Out at the range today, my gun and the others were cycling fine with the plastic mags, Uzi mags, etc. Not cycling with the 10-round steel mags. Mark is working with C-Products to see if there is a way they can get the 10-rounders working.

Anyone who is in the firearms business... please see if there is anyway you can get some other 9mm AR mags into the market place. There has got to be a great market for it right now. If I had some working 5 rounders, Uzi, Colt, whatever, at least I could get my AR out to the range and use it - 5 rounds or 10.

I want to say one more thing... I liked Questar before, but I'm starting to gain a new appreciation for them. I was pretty ticked-off (to say the least) putting $2,000 into a new AR that wouldn't cycle rounds, but I like Mark's approach. He's "all business". As a fellow small business owner, I can appreciate the nightmare this must be for them. The other thing is, it was Questar that developed the 10-round mag project in the first place. If every retailer/dealer/importer/distributor was even half as active as Questar in meeting the needs of shooters, there would be a lot more cool gear in this country.

Mark at Questar has been great to deal with. I will definitely send as much business to Questar as I can.

Uh oh, I just bought some of those 10 rd. mags with no chance to test them out yet.

Questar still has over 700 in stock!

I'm confident that there will be a resolution accetable to everyone. The CGN site sponsor dealers all seem to stand behind their products. I think Questar stands behind their products, and hopefully C-Products will do the same. The problem here is really at the C-Products level from what I understand. Questar and Rock River are not the problem.

I am suggesting that someone see if they can bring in some decent 5/32 9mm mags or something like that so that those of us with no other magazines can use or 9mm ARs until this gets resolved.

Is there currently another 9mm AR mag being offered for sale by any dealer anywhere in Canada? I have not been able to find them if they are out there. The C-Products mags seem to be the only game in town for 9mm. Everything else seems to be horded by 9mm AR guys who won't be letting them go. It's a tough situation right now.

In deciding on a pistol calibre carbine, the 10 round capacity was a major selling point for the AR - part of what caused it to win out over the Beretta Storm and B&T TP-9 in my mind. Maybe I made the wrong call. At least with the Beretta and the TP-9 you can order factory mags. In Vancouver here there are at least a couple of stores where I could just walk in and buy the mags for the other two. Why is it that 9mm AR mags are impossible to get?

did anyone get an answer as to why the 10/32 rnd mags are not available anymore? (ive not even asked)

they were/are approved br rcmp maybe a us thing.....

Could be RRA won't ship high-cap mags north anymore? Or maybe the CProduct mags were the easier route to go.

Speaking of 9mm mags...

Will the RRA 9mm mags work in the FAMAE SAF?

I read somewhere... (actually I'm almost ceratin it was on CGN) that they will work with a little modification with a dremel.

Anyone know for sure?

Can someone post a pic of the spine on a 9mm RRA mag?

Regards,
