Where can I get the Ruger AR 556 in Canada?

Hello,

I really want the Ruger AR 556 and can't find it anywhere in the area I live (Toronto or GTA). I have my email for waiting list for 3 stores but all of them say they don't know when the rifle is coming in. Anyone know where I can get one? I can buy it from anywhere in Canada as long as they can ship it to me.

I bought mine from P & D in Edmonton just before Christmas. They don't have any on their website right now, but if you call them, they might have some idea of they are expecting more.

Firearms Outlet Canada was the last online store i seen that had them.... not sure if any left though.... maybe state the three stores you mentioned that you researched..... have you looked at the Smith and Wesson M&P 15 Sport II for entry level budget AR as a substitute....? Good Luck

I think I saw them at IRG. Both Ruger and Smith and Wesson. I would look into S&W sport II closer, it seems like it's slightly better option .
BTW, brand new S&W or Ruger at IRG are cheaper than used on EE. Go figure.

Update: I got an email notification earlier yesterday and call the store and got my Ruger AR 556 ordered. Going to be picking it up from Al Flaherty's in the next 4-9 days after all the paperwork is done. All stocked up on 1000 rounds of American Eagle ammo and I'm ready for the range. Got a nice rifle hard case and a trigger lock for it already, plus all the cleaning supplies. Can't wait. Thanks for everyone help.

Paper holes from $800 entry AR are as good as holes made by $2000 AR. Nothing wrong with entry ARs from Ruger. Overall VG feedback.

For an entry level AR-15 it's hard to go wrong with rifles from Windham Weaponry. I've never handled or shot the Ruger so I won't speak to it but my experience with a WW for the past two years has been uniformly positive.
