Where Can I Purchase 1911 Magazines in Canada

I apologize if this has been asked elsewhere in the forums. If it has, I have not been able to find it.

I just purchased the new Ruger SR1911 pistol and would like to get some additional magazines for it. I have heard the magazines to buy are the Wilson Combat 47D's or the Kimber KimPro Tac-Mag. I have searched everywhere online, but can only find them on US sites (I have found them on a few Canadian sites, but they're sold out).

If anyone has any ideas where else I could look, I would greatly appreciate it.

Really? I had an order ready to go until I read their International policy which mentioned that magazines are not shipped out of the US. However, if people have ordered without issue, then I will do the same. Thanks for the reply.

I order mags from them all the time. Make sure you pick USPS Priority and enter a comment Ship via USPS INTFC and the shipping cost will be around $5.75. But I seen a post that the USPS rate went up lately.
 
I ordered a bunch of mec-gar and cheap no name mags from numrich a while ago. For roughly $200 + shipping and taxes i got a mix of 10 8- and 7-round that work great in my sr1911

Brownells is swamped with orders so don't be surprised if your order takes 2-3wks to fill! I have an order still waiting to ship since Jan 9 and a second order on Jan 13 too! Well, unless my orders fell through the cracks. ARGH!
 
Ive used kimpro's, the rugers, usgi, marstars mecgars, wolff(wolff springs in the states), abd a few others ... The kimpros being the most costly. They all function the same in my SR1911.
Frontier is now carrying the ruger 7rd mag, Marstar carry several magazines both 7 and 8rd, Dlask. At least half a dozen forum sponsors carry 1911 magazines ... if not then brownells, numrich or wolff springs in the states will ship mags up here.

I just received my 2 Wilson Combat 47D mags today. It took just over 2 weeks to arrive. And, although Customs opened the package, there were no Customs charges added to the order.
 
I can't comment on the quality but Wolverine appears to have SAM 8 round 45 blue mags in stock @ $17.99 ea. I have one that came with my SAM stainless Commander and it looks good but I haven't used it as I have Wilson's that I use. Maybe someone who has tried them can comment on fit & function.
