where can one obtain new manufacture 303 projectiles?

hi guys...

I know we all have our secret places where we can acquire reloading supplies, but I'm wondering if you'd like to share where you've been able to obtain "303" projectiles in bulk.

I have an issue with buying a box of "this" here, and a box of "that" there... I get no consistency. there has to be some place out there that makes em and will ship within Canada. and, if this mysterious place sells/ships through online trasactions, so much the better.

I just ordered 3 boxs of hornady 170 gr from russell sports on the weekend. should be here in 5 day. I agree lots of sites list them but have no stock.

Your local gun shop can order whatever you want in whatever quantity you want. Be prepared to pay up front though.
Loading components cannot be shipped from the U.S. without to U.S. export permit.

yeah... no kidding.

It's tough to justify paying $30,$50,$60,etc/box from a local store, when there are probably manufacturers out there that just need to make themselves known to us. it's a shame that they don't recognize the value of becoming a CGN sponsor - I'm sure their link would get clicked once or twice.

their selection is very limited, and they only come in "RN", which is a bit silly in my view. I think most of us would probably prefer to shoot spitzers or FMJ's...

yes, they are FMJ's... but they are Round Nose projectiles, not suitable for my purposes

Sierra makes a 174 gr Match King and a 150 and 180 gr spitzer, Hornady makes a 123 gr and 150 gr spitzer, Speer makes a 150 gr Spitzer, Woodleigh makes a 150 gr semi spitzer.

Sierra 174 grain Match Kings are a beautiful bullet, highly recommended.

Sierra sells the 174 .303 match in bulk. 500 packs. I have found the Hornady 174 match just as accurate and a little cheaper.
