Your best bet is to scrounge the ' EE ' on ammo, 'deals' are infrequent but do arise from time to time

425.00 for 500 seems a tad high but there are not too many options for 7.62/308 these days.

i've got a case of the south african and i'm scared to shoot it until i find more

This is PMC ammo. It's factory loads. They "had" South African 7.62X51mm Match surplus for $645.00 for 1260 rounds. I guess I bought the last case. If you want to buy half of it I'd be willing to part with it PM me and let me know.

I second that, with all the M14S that just got in, a significant increase in imported 7.62x51 is now mandatory

I've been looking for some 7.62 nato brass...not a lot of luck there either.
