Talked to Wolverine. They are taking orders. When I asked ETA he kind of hesitated and said maybe January. Been there done that. Jan turns into March which turns into September. Waited almost 3 yrs. for a JAE 700 stock before I cancelled it. From then on, I will always take what is actually in stock over a pre order if I want something, even at a higher cost (I'm into instant gratification anyway)

I was told Jan at the latest. If not, i'll be getting my deposit back and looking for something else.

Email Wolverine and find out. I had no problem getting what I wanted (full-size DA/SA in black) at the preorder price with $200 deposit, but who knows what they've ordered beyond the confirmed preorders.

hk 45's new in Canada are available through the pre-order or for a premium if you want to play now. If i wanted one now i'd pay a premium to play. its not that much and the pistol is worth 1500. fortunately if you wait you can get them cheaper. great pistol in every way.

And lots of people have objections about China because of politics, more than economics. I daresay buying guns in the US is no big deal to most. See also, SIG, FN...

Your comparison is silly. We are comparing 2 different plants owned by the same company who follow the same QC guideline. It still amaze me that some people thinks everything that comes from Germany is superior.

The analogy is wrong.

HK 45's us or German are made on the same machines with same quality of material in the parts and cost the same regardless of where they are made. The German made ones are third party proofed, us ones are not. Regardless they are the same.

This is not true of sig's. sig USA uses inferior quality steel than German sig's, the machines are not identical and qc requirements are not the same and cost of the same model is different, reflecting the difference in cost.

So what is your point?. Ad meaningful substance to the conversation if you can please.

Anyone who is looking for one, head to Arma-Coat's section. Couple guys are trying to get out of the order and are offering their pre-order at a loss. I believe there are still a few available to order there as well.

I believe several sponsors still have room if anyone wants to buy a German HK45. I'm getting one and I'm happy they haven't arrived yet, Xmas has brought it's own toys for me!
