I’m from Ottawa but my family recently bought a cottage near gananoque. More specifically near Lyndhusrt and Seeleys bay. I’m wondering if there is any crown land near the area where we could do clay pigeon shooting and basic target practice. If anyone knows places it’s legal and accepted please let me know. Thanks in advance!

If you’re looking to shoot clay targets just check out Golden Triangle Trap and skeet club off highway 29 just north of Brockville on the Greenbush Rd. They also have 5 Stand and are presently putting a sporting clay course in. Very friendly and you’ll be welcomed!
Kinston also takes walk-ons, and is open to new-members. There is a fairly active Skeet/Trap/Sporting group on Sundays, so it's a good mix of people.
