Where did this stock come from?

Does any one know if this stock is available to the public market? I believe this rifle is made by HK, but iv never seen a stock like this before for an AR?

NEA is releasing them "before the end of January".
the design is supposed to be upgraded by then too.

The stock in the picture (with the mandatory HK "cool guy") is for a piston gun, the one at the bottom (sans Mr Cool Guy) works on DI guns. Personally I'm cooler than Mr Cool Guy, right until I wake up.
