Where do I buy the cheapest reloading tumbler?

Reloders.ca a forum sponsor has a good deal on the Frankford Aresenal Tumbler and media seperator. Bass Pro also carries just the tumbler.

The Frankford is cheap but friggin LOUD

If it were me, I would spend the extra $$$ on a Lyman, they are quite reasonable for the noise level.

"...buy a cheap reloading tumbler..." How inexpensive? Try a gun show. Or the EE. Mind you, like mlehtovaara says, if you're close to the border, you can bring reloading equipment back with no fuss. Pay the PST and GST or the friggin' HST, if it applies. $30 difference between here and the U.S. for a Hornady tumbler.
"...for the noise level..." Put a cardboard box over it. "Suppresses" my old Lyman tumbler well.
A $1 store plastic collander with the bottom holes drilled bigger, makes a great media separator.

I picked up a Lyman Turbo Tumbler 1200 in the states for $49 or $54 bucks. Not the cadillac of tumblers but it has a built in media seperator in the lid which is a nice bonus.
I saw the same tumbler at my local shop for $95.

(If you are close to the US) The guys at work swear by the Harbor Freight Ultrasonic Cleaner; basically the same one Hornady sells (quite more $$$)

I use the rotary type tumbler and get used on bay type things or the buy & sell and such

I also like to leave running for the noise it provides.
White background noise leaves some of us calmer and a "canary in a can" warning for whenever power goes out and comes back on.

I paid $43 for mine in the U.S. I like to buy Canadian, but when the price is double here, I have to draw the line.

The problem with buying the cheapest is, well that's what you get, cheap. Then you end up replacing it again and again. Buy the BEST you can painfully afford, but only do it once and in the long run you will be farther ahead.

Not always the best solution.
Some budget ones are of equal quality and lifespan. Even if I need to replace my $50 tumbler once every 10 years, and $100 one - once every 20 years, I'd rather go with cheaper one, and will have used 2 new tumblers in same 20 years time. They all have moving and prone to breakeage parts. If warranty on $100 one isn't lifetime, it's not worth it unless its design is superior and it comes with useful to me extra features. It's not a lifetime item.

On the other hand, I'd spend as much as I can afford on a matress :D since I spend roughly 1/3 of my life on it and its quality does affect my back and health condition. :D

I have a Lortone QT-12 rotary rock tumbler that I use for tumbling brass and I highly recommend it. It cost a bit more than most vibratory tumblers, but it is well worth it. It is much quieter and built to last for decades. Remember, this is something you should only have to buy once. You can save on the cost of media by using plastic beads instead of walnut shell or corncob; the beads can be washed when they get dirty.
