Where do I find a blank/starter pistol in Canada?

I'm probably posting this in the wrong thread, so I'll move it if needed. But I am looking for a used 22cal blank and a used 209 primer pistol, that is in a revolver style and can load mutiple blanks/primers. Either a starter pistol, blank pistol, etc. It'll be used for retriever dog training and competition.

I'd make an add in the EE but I don't even know what category to put it in. And as for online, I'm striking out trying to find any in Canada that don't cost $400+ and the ones that do cost $400+ don't ever seem to be in stock.

Any help would be much appreciated!
 
Wow they sure have gone up in price. I'm sure I bought and sold mine for around $100.
Before I found one I just used my muzzleloader and 209's
Put it under hunting gear on ee

The good ones like an Alfa I last saw for around $500-$600 CAD for the 22cal version. I don't have the luxury of carrying any kind of real firearm at where we are permitted to do our training. So thats out of the option...

You can still buy a 9mm RK (PAK) revolver from Replica Airguns. It's the ROHM RG-89. But like you said, its's pricey. Forget about semi-auto pistols. They are unobtainium in Canada. I think that similar revolvers you can also buy in Camouflage.ca.

I just watched a Rohm .22 appear online and in less than 10 minutes it was sold. Guess you are not the only one looking for one. ReplicaAirguns has a blank guns section. Occasionally they will have all 9mm, .25, and .22 blank guns in stock but they get bought up, not in days or hours but in minutes.

You may have to get on a waiting list - they are extremely rare in Canada now
You may also want to consider a Thunder Equipment popper as an alternative. Little more expensive up front but cheaper in the long run
Cheapest alternative is a dummy launcher without the dummy. Cumbersome and takes a while to reload but it works

Got my hands on Aral 622k (satin and brown grip)….anybody got an idea what it can be worth in todays Canadian market? Been looking everywhere for the same or equivalent but can’t find any reference…��
 
Maybe look into bear bangers, they use .22 cal blanks and sell for roughly 50 bucks give or take. Only drawback is they are single shot. If you get the style that looks like a small orange handgun reloading shouldn't be a big issue.
