Hi Guys
I am in a difficult situation because the Sako V75 Varmint (22-250) that I bought used got damaged in shipping - a big crack.
I'll be filing an insurance claim on this. Does anyone know where I could buy an original factory replacement stock since this rifle is no longer in production? I'm after the walnut stock, not the synthetic one. If I manage to find one, is it a fairly involved gunsmithing job to fit it? Should it be done professionally or is this something that a semi-skilled hobbyist could do?
On a slightly off-topic note, has anyone here ever had to deal with a shipping damage claim on a Canada Post shipment?
Where you satisfied with the settlement? I'm in new territory here.
Thanks for any advice and insight you post.
