Where do you buy your .223 projectiles?

I don't shoot that calibre, but I've been buying bullets and everything else from Budget Shooter Supply (a site sponsor) and have been nothing short of dazzled by Henry's outstanding service. The prices also seem to be among the best from what I've seen around, but I don't have a lot to compare to. It's the only place I have purchased components online.

as far as plinking ammo is concerned winchester white box seems to be the best.
AE is cheapr but ive had numerous duds and its not as accurate.
I personaly load my own i know its not that much cheaper but i do gain accuracy so i dont mind the tradeoff.
Siera 69gr boattail reloads make nice ragged holes at 100yds..:D

I'm surprised to hear you mention that Federal AE didn't group well in your rifle. You must have an oddball, most people seem very happy with that particular ammunition.

Reloaders.ca seems to have good pricing for 55gr projectiles also.

I'm running a 650 XL. When you change calibers you need a caliber conversion kit which is the powder funnel, the shell plate and the parts for the case feeder. The quick change is the tool head with a powder measure and a cute little blue stand.
This way when I switch calibers I don't have to readjust my dies because I don't take them out of the tool head. Same goes for the powder measure. It cost a lot but I'm worth it.lol

Ah, yeah I thought that was what you meant, but I was wondering if you had a quick solution for changing primer sizes or something.

I have a 650 also, set up for 9mm but I have a .308 conversion kit on the way to do similar to what you're doing.

Like you said, it's not a cheap system but damn is it solid and a pleasure to operate. I've been currently loading my .308 with a Lee 50th anniversary press and while it does the job, it feels like I'm going to break it.

Higginson powders bulk 55g BTFMJ 13$/100. Thats what I buy... best I found. I dont know about budget shooters supply prices.
