Where does a guy buy some Swift A-frames

Heya gents.

I was wondering if any of you know where a guy can buy a box or two of swift a-frames online. I really only have experience ordering projectiles from cabelas or wholesale sports and neither list this bullet. I was fortunate enough to buy some loaded factory Remington cartridges loaded with A-frames and the gun shot them more accurately than anything else I have tried to handload for it. I wat to get some of these pills ( .308 200 gr)

I have yet to use them on game but I hear they are a reliable penetrator and fairly devastating. If anyone can attest to this through personal experience I would appreciate that also.

I have been shooting A-Frames for Moose since they came on the market in the 1980's - I consider them the "toughest" (conventional) bullet on the market. And they don't need "magnum impact velocities" like the mono's do to expand (TTSX, GMX etc).

They are like a Nosler Partition on steroids - same basic design, just have the partition moved closer to the tip, tougher base etc. In actual use, prior to the A-Frames we recovered many Partitions that had "lost their nose" after impact - never seen that with an A-Frame.

The A-Frame is an excellent bullet, but some rifles are not fussy about shooting them well.
You say yours shoots them very accurately...this is good.

They expand well, and are also "tough" inasmuch as they stay together well, even when
driven hard. I have a bunch coming in for my 8mm Rem Mag, but will not be hunting with
them in that rifle, since I have no time left to develop a load before my hunt.

I have 45 of the .308 - 200 grain variety, but am disinclined to get rid of them, since one
of my 308 Norma Mags likes them.

FWIW, CI Distributors has sold off their Swift bullet stock, and have very few left now.

Yah I have read about the tendency for partitions to come apart after impact. I know they still do the job, I just want something a bit "tougher" without going to a Mono. For whatever reason, and ive never understood it, I have to load "Down" with powder charges with Mono's like the TSX. I want something that is tough like the TSX but can be loaded like a conventional bullet.

Just a note on the Partition. I have taken well over 100 head of game with Partitions, from the .224 - 60 grain, right up to the .375 - 260 grainer.
IMHO, this is still one of the very best bullets, and while there are some better bullets out there, I still judge all other offerings by the venerable Partition.
I still shoot them by choice in my 6mms, 6.5x55, 280, 7mm Rem Mag, 300 Savage, 30-06, 308 Norma mag., 338 Win Mag

Only ever lost one game animal, and it was not a Partition. [Probably more my fault than the bullet, however. :( ]
