Or even a selection of Norcs? This is my 2013 305 from Marstar. I unpacked it, stripped it, cleaned it, greased it, and shot ten rounds out of it. Then put it away. Until I seen the thread by another member on here with the CanAm that had no contact on the left lug. Well I instantly had a bad feeling and ran to check mine. Sure enough, no left lug contact. I'm way outside Marstars 30 day return policy. So I want to try a new bolt, and pray like hell it's not my receiver out of spec. I've been trying to get together with Barney/Hungry/Tactical Teacher to have a look at it, but we haven't been able to get a night pinned down. So here's the picture, the light does exaggerate it, but there is still a visible gap without it.

If you have time to spare, one will eventually show up on the EE. Armtac in BC carries nice Fulton bolts. But you may want to get Barney to look at it first before buying a new bolt as it may not solve your problem, if there even is one.

And another norinco with problems -_- That sucks I hope you can fix this good luck

Tell me about it. I had been avoiding these things. Then all the ranting and raving about these ones from Marstar being the best ones EVVVEEERRRR. And naturally, it's a lemon.

I just gave my Marstar 22'' M305 a second going over after seeing this thread and the other re: Socom that had bad bolts or receivers spec's and can report that my new Marstar has got virtually perfect equal bearing on both lugs. All good here! So, not all are bad guys don't paint all the Norc's as bad cause of a few! In fact other than a slightly canted to the right front Sight and an OK set of rear sights mines a beauty. Once I knock of the Flash - hider and replace the front and rear sights I am confident it will be a GREAT shooter. Hope you get yours fixed up. Learn as much as you can and attend a clinic if possible and you will find this platform to be fun, and fulfilling as you learn how to make it better and see the improvement in performance with each tweak!! Have fun

OKAY. Now this perplexes me. I get to looking at this thing today. And I cannot for life of me, duplicate the problem. I stripped it and put it back together half a dozen times. Empty chamber. Fired case. Live round.

Full contact every single time. I must've worked the action 200 times. Flashlight at it from every angle, not even a glimmer.

Not that I'm complaining, it just boggles me.

Was the hammer in the fired position when you took to pic perhaps?
