Where have all the milsurps gone?

I almost bought one too but damn, what happened to pricing..

Same thing that happened to the non modified military issue Lee Enfield's, M1 Garands, P14's, M38 Swedish Mausers and M38 Mosin Nagants among many other ex-mil guns that before the supply dried up they were cheap, but as soon as no more were coming in they started to rapidly jump in price.

I predict that we will see no more K31's coming in except for a few private ownership ones and they will be trading for nearly $1000 each in a few years time. If you can find one for under $500 jump on it now! They will never return to $300 guns, those days are now gone!

Like the old saying - You snooze, you lose!

Some milsurp is hot right now while others have stagnated. Almost seems like there's always a few guys stoking the hype machine anytime some new stock of whatever comes in.

I really don't understand what causes certain milsurps to jump at certain times. M1 Garands, K31s, M39s etc. Generally the prices on those firearms listed were pretty stagnant for years, then boom all of a sudden they shoot up in price. I honestly think CGN has a fair bit to do with it, more to do with the fact you can now get information much easier than you once could.

Milsurps are beautiful works of art. I have several as well as several modern black rifles. I have an ex-military friend who, after viewing my collection, picked one of my Lee Enfields as his favorite gun. You don't have that kind of a pedigree with a black rifle.

Corwin had few of this enfield on the table in Edmonton at the gun show in dec. No import marks on them and none were DP marked.

Just to clarify. This rifles did not come from US. Yes there was 1 DP marked rifle that accidentally ended up for sale but we pulled it out as soon as it was noticed. None of the rifles is DP marked with exception of the one that went already for parts. There is no import marking on them.
All Long Branches are still in factory grease minus the barrel that we check for quality. SMLEs are cleaned up by us from grease to grade them better.
Where they came from we will not disclose at the moment since we already had a lot of negative actions from another importer that lost the bid for them to us.
Some of you that know how to read a storage tags on Long Branches will know right away where they came from but please keep it to yourself for at least 3 months till we have time to close another bit for something you will really like. Advantage to you the customer is that our price will be about 30% less with us then if they go to another importer
