While there are a growing number of WWII Russian/Soviet firearms available, along with SKS's, and the recently available dewat AK74's, and the new semi-auto RPD's, what happened to the rest of the Red Rifles? What happened to the small handful of live 74's that came into the country in the early 90's, or all the C/A's (AK's/RPK's/RPD's/etc) that used to be found at all the shows?
I understand some people might be hestant to buy something that might be sent to Ottawa for 14-16 months before they take possession of them, or buying safe-queens that can't be fired currently, but they have all but disappeared from the market.
The Russians/Soviets built some pretty hard, pretty reliable, firearms, its too bad they have been relegated to the back of people's safes.
