It seems like there are virtually none on the shelves. After scouring the web I could only find one and that one was a .264 WM. Have any of you seen them out there? Are they still in production?

I heard a rumour:

Browning and Winchester are both owned by FN now (that's not the rumour, that's a fact), and the distributors are making retailers buy huge "lots" to have access to FN product, and those lots include a whole bunch of unsellable calibers and firearms. BARs, 270s, BLRs, etc.

This would sort of mean we won't be seeing much more Browning and Winchester any more.

Tikka and Kimber will have to take up the slack! :)

Don't quote me on this but I heard that they can only ship to Canada once every two years. New rules or something. Has anyone else heard this?

Would really like a .30-06, but anything in that range would be considered.

Canadian Tire in Langley BC had a few (i believe 3 in 30-06 and atleast one in 270) Mod 70's in the Extreme flavour about 4 moths ago when I bought my Kimber, they may or may not have one anymore; might be worth a call. I wanted an Extreme weather so bad, but couldn't for the life of me find a 7mm-08. So I settled, lol.

I wanted one this spring, but the price was to much for 1,,, so I bought 2 brand new Remingtons instead.

I'm glad I did since 1 is becoming a FTR rifle at this moment, the other has me into the 1 km Cliff bank shooting,,, it will remain partly factory for this fall harvest, then turn into a PRS rifle this winter.

I was hoping for the Carlos Hathcock thing, but I'll have to do it with the Remmys I guess.

I wish I could of kept my Model 70 338 win, but my body said no.

I was thinking the same thing. Can't seem to find one in 7mm-08 anywhere near me. If anyone has seen one near them, I'll pay you to buy and ship it. Let me know.
