Initial impressions:
1) The grips look nice but they won't provide much traction.
2) The firearm is fitted with all black target sights. I knew this before purchasing so I'll have to paint the front post or change the front sight.
3) Trigger: It's a 1911.
4) The fit and finish is pretty decent, it's not a Les Baer but more than adequate for my purpose.
5) I know Ruger's changing over to cardboard boxes but getting this gun in a cardboard box seems a little cheesy (no big deal though).
I'll post a few targets when I get it out to the range.
